Fully agree. It’s so entitled for people to expect a political party to “see them as human” and “not participate in an ongoing genocide”. Childish crap, we need grown up politics again!!
There is an extraordinary sense of entitlement behind the belief that there ought to be political party that aligns 100% with your own opinions.

Apropos of nothing, can we do away with the "but they freed the people they enslaved in their will!" arguments? If you knew enough to know it was wrong to enslave people after you died, you shouldn't be praised when you profited from their forced labor when you were alive.

you definitely couldn't argue "you're a criminal so what" as quite specifically if you're on trial you are *not* a criminal - yet.

If Labour abolish most trials by jury, and a future Reform government then takes us out of the ECHR, we'll end up in an incredibly scary place because we'll be at the whim of a handful of people.
