Posts are my thoughts, which means at least half of them are about The Boss.

Ph.D. Candidate at UW-Madison studying topological photonics

I’m essentially a physicist with the fun and charisma of a chemist. And an ego obviously of a physicist.
Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein seemed to have dinner together at Eva and Glenn Durbin’s place in Palm Beach, Florida… IN 2017
November 12, 2025 at 11:23 PM
It seems like Al Seckel was trying to help Epstein suppress bad search results on google using SEO in 2010. It’s hard to not feel like a conspiracy theorist looking at these emails.
November 12, 2025 at 11:10 PM
Every part of me feels like the Epstein stuff is not nearly as “evil cabal” as it’s portrayed but then there are emails like “hey jeff, look at this picture of a 5 year old who had a child” and I don’t know what else to think
November 12, 2025 at 7:28 PM
Oh, that Michael Wolff email is already more damning than anything I ever expected to see
🚨BREAKING: Oversight Dems have received new emails from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate that raise serious questions about Donald Trump and his knowledge of Epstein’s horrific crimes.

Read them for yourself. It’s time to end this cover-up and RELEASE THE FILES.

I’m a big fan of bureaucracy and I think it gets maligned because some people are just not good at their jobs

Feist performed “It’s A Good Life If You Don’t Weaken” with the surviving members of The Tragically Hip and now “We’re Going To Be Friends” with Olivia Rodrigo. If she wasn’t *so* good at it, it would be insulting to say she’s an incredible tribute artist.

The reason I like Tammy Baldwin so much is because she knows how to politic. This probably doesn’t matter, but it’s way more “doing her job” than posting a
statement and giving up.
The Senate has rejected a plan from Sen. Tammy Baldwin D-WI to extend the expiring Obamacare health insurance subsidies for 1 year. Party line vote.

I’ve been maybe a bit too critical of LaFleur, but now it’s clear that he’s a problem.

- play-calling is slow and run-heavy

- offense keeps making terrible penalties

- McManus’s leg was just this week “feeling semi-better” and he’s still the starter (??)

I don’t know what he does well now.
My working theory of Lafleur right now is he wants to protect his OL in pass pro but is in denial about how bad they are at run blocking

It’s concerning to me that with an established list of 8 people voting here, the comments are filled with BlueAnon speculation that actually “[other person] is behind this!”
The fact that none of the 8 Dems are up for re-election in 2026 is a pretty good sign @schumer.senate.gov engineered the surrender

Democrats have awful approval because a few of the worst ones can negotiate a terrible deal and then get all of the other dems blamed for it. Republicans call their weak links “RINO” but spineless Democrats spoil the whole party

I think this is a huge overpay for the current Sauce Gardner, but if he gets good again it’s probably the definitive proof that Irsay-Gordon is actually an elite team owner
Newest Colts CB: Sauce.

The Jets are getting 2 first-rounders and WR AD Mitchell for Sauce Gardner.

The Colts get Sauce Gardner for next 5.5 years under a contract worth $131.5M -- taking out what NYJ already paid. $625k for the remainder of 2025 and then an average of $26.1M for the next 5 years.

The Springsteen song of the moment is this 1982 demo version of “Born in the U.S.A”.

The Nebraska ‘82 album set is a goldmine, and I like the slight lyrical “changes” in this demo. “Son, you’ve ever heard of Vietnam?” is better than “Sent me off to a foreign land”

Well this is a frustrating urban legend to learn about. It sounds like “my friend’s uncle at Nintendo said…” for medical professionals.
Resolved: "people are MRI'd at the zoo" is rare enough that it's basically an urban legend and NOT a common occurrence.

I'll even propose a falsifiable statistic: it's probably only happened less than 5 times in the United States in the last 20 years.
i had to get an MRI when i was pregnant because they thought there might be something catastrophically wrong with the baby (there wasn't) and the MRI tech told me that a lot of people are too big for standard MRI machines and have to get scanned at the zoo. anyway just thinking about that.

There’s so much we’re going to have to fix in the future, and I think public records law reform should be high on that list. It seems silly, but public sentiment is the most powerful force in America and there’s no better way to move it than by simply pulling back the curtain on the government.
