The legislation includes tax cuts as well as big cuts to Medicaid, food benefits and other programs, and it would add more than $3 trillion to the national debt.

I will be damned if I allow a bunch of Confederate-waving January 6th apologists give the American people a lecture on flag waving.

There is ZERO reason to enter an argument about patriotism with people who still worship traitors to America 150+ years later.

I’m coming around to the fact that a renewed push to Civics education might be the key to solving this whole mess.
What if most Americans understood how tarrifs work, or why checks and balances and due process are essential?
Would they fall for the lies as easily?

Great question, and I wish I knew the answer…
I know folks are busy with their lives, but this is going to make everything so much worse… have to believe they care.
Maybe the answer is folks see it, but, now what?
I know this is going to sound naive or earnest, but I genuinely find myself shocked by how little people seem to be upset by the levels of corruption we're seeing. Is that the median voter assumes everyone is corrupt already? Or isn't actually getting stories about the corruption?

"We don't care about the actual quality of education, just don't say they/them..."
This coming from a bunch of ignorant losers who didn't enjoy learning about pronouns as a part of speech in grade school, much less as something adults use to be kind to each other and respect each other's identities
House Bill 1193 bans schools from teaching "transgender ideology, gender-neutral pronouns, heteronormativity, gender theory, sexual privilege or any related formulation of these concepts.”

None of the serious issues that Americans face will be solved… or even addressed during this administration.
Much of the progress will not freeze, it will be rewinding over the next 4 years.

Across the TV news landscape, coverage of Trump's inauguration was soft.

Networks almost entirely avoided using terms like "twice-impeached" or "convicted felon." On CNN, neither term was used a single time, per a search of closed captioning.
