So it looks like soon we will have our first gender reveal. If you didn't know nepenthes are dioecious, meaning that each plant is either male or female.
This is the first time that I have had one of my nepenthes bloom so needless to say I'm excited. #plants #carnivorousplants

These are pretty much the essential BASE mixes for what I use for my collection. I do add in other things like coco chips or sand, but in a pinch depending on the plant one of these combos will get the job done.

Sarracenia "Yellow Jacket"
A veteran of my bog setups. Can't wait to see its growth next year. Leaves may not be the showiest color but I like the pics I've seen of its flower blooms. Still waiting for my first one. #plants #carnivorousplants

I would say no. Carnivorous plants also don't really grow that big overall either. You'll see noticeable difference by the end of the growing season. #carnivorousplants #plants

According to Reddit my corn plant may be a goner but I’m gonna just ignore it in its other room for a while and see if it stress grows another shoot to start over. If not I now know that’s a plant that doesn’t like me like spider plants and succulents. I can respect a plant’s decision to die
