The officiating at the Boston Fleet v. Ottawa Charge game was ATROCIOUS. (And I’m saying this as someone who survived the 2023-24 Worcester Railers season.) Fleet did not rise above, even tho the barn tried hard to rouse them, and it ended with being a shutout. Awful game. 😔

The 2024-25 Bruins are…fine? Like, they’ll make playoffs and get bounced. Just some really awful seasons for key players. Can’t blame the FO for all of it — they got the only available C and his bonded pair RD. This team should be better than it is. There’s just no whimsy.

The Bruins are best when they’re wildly annoying to play against and can finish their chances. This game has absolutely shown their ability to be annoying AF, but they’re still losing steam at the end.
The Bruins this year are infuriating because they have flashes of being SO GOOD and it’s like when you come across a ethereal woodland creature in a sunlit forest clearing and it’s so beautiful that you can’t move because you don’t want to break the moment and then you hear a rifle— 😭
