Auchincloss on Fox News Sunday: "This economy is inflationary right now...you know what the GOP response is? Their response is, 'Well, get ready for a rocky ride & by the way, we're gonna give tax cuts to the top 20% of earners & pay for it by taking away healthcare from people who need healthcare'"

A comprehensive story of the two times in the history of the National Archives when a blatantly partisan archivist was appointed. Spoiler: it didn't go well either time. ICYMI Anthony Clark:

"dei medal" you might as well just put "n*gger medal" because that's what they mean to say
This is blood-boiling. Charles Rogers was awarded the Medal of Honor in Vietnam after being wounded three times leading the defense of a position.

Google his name and the entry below comes up. When you click, you'll see the page has been deleted and the URL changed to include "DEI medal."

A champions league night to remember! We may have got a bit lucky on the last play but credit to the team for being relentless enough to even get back into the game (away from home and in the rain).

Headline: “A Hitler Salute is a Hitler Salute is a Hitler Salute”

They are complicit.
“The New York Times went with ‘Elon Musk Ignites Online Speculation Over the Meaning of a Hand Gesture.’ The Washington Post opted for ‘Elon Musk gives exuberant speech at inauguration.’ Some local TV stations even cut their footage right before the first and most obvious salute.”

A bit of vindication (and hope) for people with "long covid". The authors of this paper show that viral protein persists in the brain in the absence of viral DNA and that this is correlated with inflammation markers. Most importantly, they show that mRNA vaccination provided protective effects.
Persistence of spike protein at the skull-meninges-brain axis may contribute to the neurological sequelae of COVID-19
