I think the main lesson to take away from the extrajudicial murder of people in boats on the Caribbean Sea is that laws don't apply to you if you are strong enough or rich enough and to have the world sit back and acquiesce to this is abhorrent.

BlueSky is mostly like-minded people posting things I mostly appreciate but, somehow, of all the social media spaces, this one makes me feel the worst.
I don't really understand the phenomenon. I can really only scroll for a few minutes before I become aware of how bad it feels.
