I bought myself a delighful birthday present: one of a local bookstore's last available copies of @lizclimo.bsky.social's Lobster is the Best Medicine🦞. I've been following the artist's pages and buying her eBooks for years, and it's nostalgic to read some of her earliest works of art.🐇🐻

I've yet to order @janeharrington.bsky.social's fairy tale book, but I'm happy to see Persinette among the selected stories. Written by Charlotte-Rose de Caumont de La Force, the French story inspired the Grimm Brothers' Rapunzel, @kateforsyth.bsky.social's Bitter Greens, and my 2016 blog post 💇🏼‍♀️

Two years ago, @laurenjabear.bsky.social wrote Medusa's Sisters🐍🐍🐍, one of my favorite books. Now, I finally have my very own snake wig, wearing it to teach my class the classic stories and take fun selfies. Also can't wait to read @janeharrington.bsky.social's fairy tale book📘.
