I’m such a sucker for wildflowers. Sometimes I worry I paint them too often but they just make me so happy both in person and when painting them! These are all oil on board and all sold (sorry!)
Anyone got photos of wildflower fields they’ve taken that they think I should paint? Share below!

The horizon is lined with small indistinct islands and clusters of sailboats sit at anchor in the stripe of blue water in front of them. The bulk of the painting is taken up by a sandy block of land that thrusts out into the ocean. It is bedecked with layer after layer of blooming pink beach roses. Oil painting of a late summer wildflower field below a blue sky filled with soft puffs of cumulonimbus clouds. The distant fields are mostly the pale golds and greens of drying late summer wild grass. There is a stand of trees in the right of the field that edges towards the foreground. The foreground is layers of wild grass and bunches of yellow flowers- black eyed susans
