Isaiah Martin, a Black Catholic Houstonian running for Congress, was arrested Thursday after confronting Republicans during a redistricting hearing at the State Capitol. He was released after more than 24 hours in detention.
Isaiah has been dragged to the ground and arrested inside of the Texas State Capitol for speaking out against Greg Abbott and Donald Trump’s illegal gerrymandering. We are waiting for more information as it develops.
