I was at Kennesaw’s first game of the season on Labor Day weekend. They lost 10-9 to Wake and missed and extra point and a FG, otherwise they’re 11-2 right now. Crazy.

I see a lot of Purdue fans grumbling about letting teams stay in games when there's this kind of start... I think everyone should get used to seeing a lot of really energetic first halves against Purdue. Teams come out fired out of a cannon to take down a top team. Doesn't always last.

6 FBS teams were unable to win a conference game this year. Next year could be better!

I seriously have no idea why you’d hire Pat Fitzgerald. He wasn’t a playcaller or strategic mind, his whole schtick was selling Northwestern Culture because he played there, and then it turns out that culture featured a brutal atmosphere of sexual hazing

It would be great if Purdue/WL had a media member who could ask a direct, tough question. Barry Odom was asked about evaluating his coaching staff and just said “in regards to what?” multiple times. How about in regards to getting your ass kicked endlessly and going 0-9 in conference play?

This may sound weird but I don’t see a lack of effort from the players. I think this is all the coaching staff failing to put them in a position to succeed. Just disheartening.

To be fair, we felt like last year was an all time low.
Temp at kickoff: 24 degrees F. That's both a known low for a Purdue home game, and a known low for a Bucket game. Previous known low for a Bucket game: 27 degrees F, in 1957. #iufb
