Welcome to America, where protesting illegal kidnappings without due process is an insurrection, but attacking the nation’s Capitol is not.

These are the proactive steps states need to be taking right now. Another thing: every Democratic governor needs to have a sit-down now with the state adjutant general to carefully review that person's understanding of their responsibilities to their state, its citizens and the federal constitution.
Washington just took the reasonable step of not allowing the National Guard of other states to operate here without our agreement. It’s not the Guard personnel we are concerned about, it’s other governors in the Trump cult. katu.com/news/local/g...

Trump has ample warning from financial markets of how harmful his tariffs will be. He is proceeding anyway, because the only way he can feel alive and fulfilled is by intentionally hurting people.

This Motion is dripping with disrespect for Judge Boasberg and is laughable when it argues (on multiple occasions) that the Court has to respect the co-equality of the branches of government seeing how Trump’s Executive branch shows no respect for the Judiciary.

This Motion says, in essence, you judge, are out of line for demanding the evidence needed to prove that I lied to you in court.

Since we’re in the “revoking degrees” phase of our democracy’s unraveling, I’d like to the know the schools from which this coterie of lawyers were graduated.
NEW: DOJ files an emergency motion in the hopes of avoiding a noon deadline to provide more info to Judge Boasberg, in private, about deportation flights that appear to have violated the court's orders. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

DOGE efforts to dismantle USAID were found unconstitutional “in multiple ways.”

The order enjoined Musk and DOGE from ordering additional terminations of employees, contracts, and grants, as well as efforts to destroy records at USAID or its website.

It could also be taken as him telling Trump, calm down, just appeal - we've got this.

There absolutely aren’t. A court order is a court order. Any regular attorney making this argument in federal court would be sanctioned for doing so.

My YES vote is *not* an endorsement of this deeply flawed CR.

My YES vote is 💯 about refusing to shut our government down.

I refuse to punish working families and plunge millions of Americans into chaos.

I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever vote to shut our government down.
