The mega corps want to squeeze every last ounce of productivity from their workers before they go somewhere else and do the same with others. It’s disgusting. No wonder they call PE vampires. All they do is extract, and they don’t care if the rest of us die.
During the height of the pandemic, Tyson used Palantir to predict Covid-19 infections among meatpacking workers down to a nearly exactly figure. But rather than using this data to increase worker protections, Tyson used it plan for labor shortages + plant closures

Texted my parents in the group chat that the president wants to go to war to distract from *everything*.

His response: "With who? America?"

And you know what? Fair.

The military won't save us btw. The fact that the media have been basically silent, that Congress has been silent about murdering random people in boats in the Caribbean shows us that the hierarchy involved doesn't seem to care about rules of war, engagement, or whether deadly force is warranted.

Tax. The. Rich.
NEW: The first two years of Massachusetts' millionaire tax has raised $3 billion more than expected.

And rather than driving the rich away, IPS researchers found that the number of millionaires has *increased.*

Tax the rich. Greg Ryan in @bloomberg.com:
Millionaire Tax That Inspired Mamdani Fuels $5.7 Billion Haul in Massachusetts
A millionaire levy in Massachusetts that New York City mayoral frontrunner Zohran Mamdani holds up as a model for taxing the rich has generated $3 billion more in revenue than expected without forcing...

It’s Nazi shit straight up and down.
It's amazing how ICE is arresting all of these dangerous criminals and yet there's no violence at all in response.

And Vance admitting that all of these people are actually just living in homes and apartments on their own gives it away too.

The American people need to wake tf up. Dismantling the agency created in the fallout of the financial crisis of 07-08 precisely to stop predatory and other unlawful practices *on behalf of consumers* is a win for ... predatory corporations. It costs taxpayer money and your own money as a consumer.

you could fact check this — there aren’t 30 million illegal immigrants and there is no evidence that the presence of an immigrant in say houston has any impact on housing in madison, wisconsin — or you could note straightforwardly that this is just nazi rhetoric
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."

More imp, immigrants have been a huge boon to cities like Buffalo that have faced tough times for decades. A logical government policy would be to try and build upon that as much as possible to reinvigorate the Rust Belt and the Midwest. www.wsj.com/us-news/rust...

Deportations are hitting smaller cities and neighborhoods where economists say recent immigration has helped boost faltering economies.

Well well well… that last paragraph is INTERESTING
The Kremlin disguised a nearly $100 mn payment to Trump in the form of a brokered real estate deal... and both Jeffrey Epstein and William Pulte were involved in the deal. That's very interesting.

A win/win (for them)

Everyone else is fucked and broke.
that’s their only “idea.” gut all the public programs to free up budget headroom for tax cuts for the rich, and everyone gets fake insurance that doesn’t cost much up front but doesn’t cover anything

the thing is that there are only two explanations for this and they are both utterly disqualifying for Dem leadership

1. you knew they would come for abortion and you already decided you were willing to give it up

2. you did NOT know, because you are too gullible for the job you currently hold
