A ceasefire that leaves Ukraine unprotected would only provide a pause before a wider war. Washington and Kyiv must agree viable security guarantees before any negotiations with Putin begin.

It's been very fashionable of late to focus on the atomic bombings & rewrite the narrative that Japan is a victim of WW2 & that violence was inflicted upon it by the US. We have to be 100% clear: Japan was NEVER a victim of the War
Fascinating, too, that the firebombings are mostly forgotten by the Japanese themselves. Narratives of nuclear victimization are deeply entrenched.
