A rare interview with the creators of the always-funny, always-brilliant, and *usually*-sexy—or occasionally anti-sexy—OGLAF!

Cooper has kept a low profile over the years, but is legitimately one of the very best artists in comics today. Read OGLAF if you're old enough to drive!
Talking Oglaf with Trudy Cooper and Doug Bayne: 'We'd stay up all night drawing stuff to make each other laugh' - The Comics Journal
Other than some time off every year for Christmas, Trudy Cooper and Doug Bayne have delivered a new Oglaf comic, skewering fantasy tropes with absolutely not safe for work humor, every week since 2008...

Puppygirl who is a high-energy working breed. Puppygirl who needs more space than a typical family home. Puppygirl who is prone to destructive behaviors when she’s understimulated. Puppygirl who is bred to run around and herd sheepgirls. Puppygirl who barks too much.
I could never be a puppygirl because my adhd ass would get so bored

There's a round of GOTY discussion going around, and I realized that a lot of my favourite games this year have been absolute Sicko Picks.

So here's a few games I've loved so far in 2025, starting with a mild one: Babushka's Glitch Dungeon. A scrunkly lil' puzzle-metroidvania with so many fun verbs

Oh hello dearie.. Babushka needs to clean up her big magical cellar. Use hag magic, or just hit stuff with your broom.

I think indie games should embrace Blurbing. When I go to a steam page I want to see a wall of quotes like '"True genius resides within these walls." - John Mason, lead programmer on Cannabis Warrior 7: Firestorm'. That's how i'll know it's quality

“Games still carry a lot of this type of energy, creative curiosity, or vision.
You can see with most of my examples here, how much story informs purpose. It inspires curiosity.

All that said, if we look past established rules and expectations, that’s what is exciting about video games.”
i just published a new post! (talk transcript turned into a post)

Sounds like Onion Games nailed it. Back before Love De Lic fractured, Moon was one of the first RPGs to really look inwards at what a 'hero' was, and became a major inspiration for Undertale.

Now Undertale has ended up being an inspiration for the people that made Moon. Can't wait to play this.

As with all of Hijong Park's other games, there's a free version too, which is the exact same game if you don't have the money to spare.

But this is by far their most ambitious and polished game, and it has full VR support!
The helicopter physics themselves are honestly probably the best I've seen outside of the first party helicopters in DCS? It's not to that level of realism, nor is it trying to be, but it captures a lot of the nuance of helicopter flight in a way almost no games do.
