The largest SNAP cuts in history went into effect yesterday, eliminating or drastically cutting food assistance for millions of Americans.

And it’s all to pay for more tax cuts that primarily benefit the super-rich.

Trickle-down economics isn't just a hoax — it's cruel.

What if “winning” meant everyone eats, everyone learns, and no one’s left behind?
That’s the kind of world worth fighting for.

Seeing the response to 47's golf outing in Scotland, I wonder how things might have changed if the US had come out as strongly against H*tler? Thank you to our international friends (if we still have some) for calling out a threat to our global community. Now let's get some folks fed in Gaza.

Grandmothers, grandfathers, and grandothers are not standing idly by while democracy suffers blow after blow. Here's how some of my peers are making a difference!

I was the oldest person in the room today. A roomful of kindred spirits with 2/3 or more of their lives ahead. My journey to this point took a lot longer than theirs. While I don't want to spend my third act just with my peers, I think this Blue Grammi can hopefully keep a foot in both camps.

Geoff Duncan: So now what? We apply our systems motto --"Wisdom, Justice, Moderation"--to the 2026 election cycle. Georgia is going to have big shoes to fill. Notice I didn't say clown shoes.

Cheeto Tax. WTF. Let's ruin all the relationships, the markets, the individuals whose futures are trashed because. Someone. Wants. To. Be. A. Strongman.

EU, please don't ban me from my travel to your countries.

More importantly, let's not starve those already struggling to afford food.

T. Snyder On Tyranny: BEWARE THE ONE-PARTY STATE. Support the multi-party system and defend the rules of democratic elections. Vote in local and state elections while you can. Consider running for office.

T. Snyder On Tyranny: DEFEND INSTITUTIONS. It is institutions that help us to preserve decency. Do not speak of "our institutions" unless you make them yours by acting on their behalf. Institutions do not protect themselves. They fall one after the other unless each is defended from the beginning.

From Timothy Snyder's On Tyranny: History does not repeat, but it does instruct. History can familiarize, and it can warn. Americans today are no wiser than Europeans who saw democracy yield to fascism, Nazism, or communism in the 20th century.

I did this thing last night. I spoke about my experience with race and how a visit to the Equal Justice Initiative's Legacy Museum has transformed my understanding of white America's inhumanity to our neighbors. Bonus: sitting next to Rose Scott, of WABE Closer Look. Thank you CCRC!

It was a real privilege to spend an asynchronous learning day with Grand #4 as she taught me all about Ruby Bridges for her class project. I merely taught her how to roll a piece of tape so it wouldn't show on her poster board. I am humbled. She is empowered with the truth.
