Key to understanding the American pathology is understanding we're a nation of shut-ins who rarely interact with others outside our nuclear families. As a result, politics is something you're a spectator of, not an active participant in.
Still can't shake that feeling normie Americans seriously underestimated how many of their fellow Americans are just extremely bad people.
