I take a very small amount of solace in knowing the degree to which conservatives have gotten super obsessed with trans people HAS actively shifted a lot of average people's opinions from "I have no thoughts about this" to "okay if you're going to be so weird about this I guess I'm pro-trans now"

Don't forget that Zohran Mamdani spent his entire campaign standing proudly beside the trans community. He went to trans rights rallies just to show support. He proudly waved trans rights flags without hesitation. He refused to back down in support of trans rights. That makes me happy.
