Corpas et al. present a detailed assessment of global diversity in genomic datasets, revealing underrepresentation of non-European ancestries in GWASs, pharmacogenomics, clinical trials, and direct-to-consumer genetic testing. They highlight ongoing challenges and the need to expand efforts to address persistent biases in genomic research.
