While on the hunt for striped bass infected with mycobacteria I pulled in this beauty! Don’t worry, she swam off right after this photo!

Found an interesting example of an abscess on a striped bass spleen. Usually the abscess will be within the spleen, not attached like this. I guess this fish wasn’t doing too well!

Up at 2:30 am to get to the site on time. Gotta love field biology!
