Why should you implement #BIMI?

BIMI enables brands to have control over the logos displayed with their email.

It is important to know that BIMI is not a security solution, although it requires the use of strong email authentication solutions like #SPF, #DKIM, and #DMARC at enforcement.

A: Yes, you need to ensure that all your domains will be supported with an enforcement policy if you would like BIMI to be eligible for display. Enforcement means a quarantine or reject policy is configured.

After testing and confirming it works we’ve added #Zoho Mail to the list of mailbox providers supporting #BIMI in their mail client.

How does #BIMI work?

This DNS record contains a URL to a logo and a VMC. A mailbox provider (MBP) will check the sending domain’s DMARC policy before completing the BIMI validation. The MBP may use the logo from the URL in the BIMI record to populate the image of the email sent from that domain.

What is #BIMI?

Brand Indicators for Message Identification (BIMI) is an emerging email specification designed to enhance email authentication and brand recognition within supporting email clients. BIMI leverages the existing DMARC protocol, before displaying brand-controlled logos.
