My earworm for today is a parody clip in the style of Sammy Hagar: “I can’t be…FIFTY-FIVE!” 🎶

It's time, time for the best movie ever.

I've got plenty of beer and plenty of weed and no work for a week. I've got a one pound bag of Werther's Originals. Who wants to party?

What if you didn't need a dongle to plug headphones into a phone, tablet, or laptop? Dongles are easy to lose. They only last a few months before you need to buy new dongle.

I introduce to you, the headphone hole, a port where you plug in headphones. No dongle needed. It will revolutionize tech.

When Big Star toured in the '90s, the lineup was rounded out by Ken Stringfellow and Jon Auer of The Posies. Strip away the grunge pop and listen between the squawks on Frosting on the Beater, and you'll hear why they were such naturals for the job #topjamsky #vinylsky

The joke here was that their 2nd album was so full of hits, that it would be radio city for Big Star. The album had no radio hits. Big Star were never big stars, in the traditional sense. They became more of a favorite band of your favorite band by the '90s and are still loved today. #topjamsky

Just the good stuff here from Teenage Fanclub: British Invasion, The Beach Boys' Pet Sounds, left coast folk, and power pop. #topjamsky #vinylsky

It's been a while since we've had a jam session. I'd been ill, and when I stopped being ill, my acid reflux flared up and I've been ill again This is 50.

Also 50, a quiet night at home, a fire in the wood-burning stove, a cat on my lap, and Ride's 1990 classic, Nowhere, on the turntable #topjamsky

I'm disappointed in myself. I needed 3 long matches to light the wood stove when 1 long match should be all that is needed. I'll do better next time.

I've been feeling kinda gross of late. The weather has also been kinda gross of late. But, a little wintry mix wasn't about to keep me inside today. I am less gross and good enough for a short hike to the King Farm Overlook and then on to the Red Pine Overlook.

Phish bassist Mike Gordon loves the transcendent experience of his band syncing up in an improvised jam—so much that he’s funding research to better understand these moments. 🎶

My original Saturday plan: Go to the Farmer and the Bell for awesome donuts and then go on an awesome bike ride, had to be readjusted after waking up feeling like shit on a stick. I still got awesome donuts. I'll take that W.

Touch grass, they said. It'll make you feel better, they said.

I went outside and everything was brown and gray, I couldn't see the trails for the dead leaves, and there were goddamn sticks everywhere.

Welcome to stick season.

Who is your childhood soccer hero?

Ok, this is more like my teenage soccer hero since the opportunities to watch top-tier soccer in the USA growing up in the '80s and '90s were scarce. But, this guy, Carlos Valderrama was so elegant on the pitch, and had such great hair.
