Marine safety equipment, by its nature, has to be changed out every couple or 3 years. Every single time the manufacturer changes the shape and/or mounting arrangements… ffs…

In 1984 this was quite an event for Eynsham. I don’t think my parents went, they were a bit skeptical about “microwave cookery”.
Hammonds is gone, but in the day it was the place to go for cutting edge electricals.
At one stage we hired a colour TV with a wired remote control from Hammonds.

These photo-luminescent tennis balls are almost indestructible, just need 10 seconds under a torch then last for ages.
