In 1984 this was quite an event for Eynsham. I don’t think my parents went, they were a bit skeptical about “microwave cookery”.

Hammonds is gone, but in the day it was the place to go for cutting edge electricals.

At one stage we hired a colour TV with a wired remote control from Hammonds.

Tennis balls in the dark, before the rain started last night. The red smudge on the horizon is the transmitter tower at Rowridge (IoW)

These photo-luminescent tennis balls are almost indestructible, just need 10 seconds under a torch then last for ages.
