I liked Bookshops and Bonedust better than Legends and Lattes, and I enjoyed this one more than Bookshops and Bonedust. Seems like a good progression.

This was both hilarious and at the same time not funny, and better than it has any right to be as a slapstick detective story starring two people sharing one body.

I found this book really interesting and as a whole, really good. There is a lot of ritual in daily life, both benign and malicious spirit beings, and government conspiracy. In the first half the main character is a young teen. The second half has some detailed woman/woman sex scenes and some gore.

Good old school fantasy I picked up randomly. I enjoyed it but it's the first book in a series and I'm on the fence about whether I want to read the rest of them.

Haven't done a book update in a while. This is the 3rd book in a series, and it's well written and engaging although I didn't like a few of the plot points. (the first book in this series is still my favorite) It seems like the author might be planning on a book for every year of magic school.
