It wouldn'teven be that hard. PSL can get decent unaffiliated turn out just by being the ones to post a flyer telling pissed off people where to go. No Kings could easily dwarf any PSL action but they don't want to.
Every single one of these orgs were at the No Kings protests across the nation. It is a failure of democratic mobilization that it is the PSL, Code Pink, etc who are driving the bus right now wrt anti-war sentiment. I suggest getting involved to change this given it is not going away any time soon.

"The Man Behind The Wire" is one of those songs I was listening to when the marines were sent to LA.
Getting into the history of the IRA and British military occupation, in part because of the federal occupation in American cities right now. I also started listening to Irish folk songs about the IRA and I find the agitprop really effective.

Agreed, I can't stand the moralizing and and pathologizing of despair some people get up to on here. It always comes across as the same kind of neurotic self soothing behavior they'll label others with.
people are upset and unhappy at the fact that the world is ass. they're going to post their shower thoughts about the world being ass on the shower thoughts website. at a certain point acting like they're violating some sort of social contract is just inhumane

I'm still pro No Kings but it was harder than I would have liked to get people to go down the street from the march to protest ICE at the MDC in LA. They/We need to start measuring success beyond just raw numbers and geographic spread and seek confrontations at the centers of gravity (like this)

If anything, removing it in a semi public spectacle *before* running would have probably been good for his political prospects. He is at best an idiot at this point.

This is going to be true for the vast majority of protests but we did get tear gassed and shot with foam tips last No Kings day in LA. I would expect Chicago to get a a little intense in some spots this time, probably after the "official" No Kings protest ends.
Friends, if you haven’t been to a normie protest before, please don’t let some nutters on the internet worry you that you’re going to be tear gassed and beaten, it will be fine. By all means be reasonably cautious, but this is not a black bloc event okay? It’s fine.

Picked this up because of this thread and it really is great so far. The Lexington & Concord chapter stirs up a lot of unfortunately familiar emotions of civil hatred and aggrievment. The Revolution was a civil war, and civil wars suck.
