The final two days of our trip were spent searching for whales. We didn’t have our cameras ready on day one and a mama, a baby and an escort went right under our kayak and came up about 30 feet in front of us.

With Joel’s upcoming knee replacement surgery and inexpensive tickets, I had the idea that we take a quick trip to Maui for some sun and whale watching before he’s stuck at home for several months. We are packing it all in till tomorrow! We went directly from the airport to our first activity!

2025 is off to a great start! New Year’s with my close friends and partner.
