Medicare for all sounds like a great idea to me. We're the richest country in the world. There's no reason we shouldn't have healthcare for everyone. The ultra-wealthy need to be taxed accordingly.

When are you calling for a vote to oust @schumer.senate.gov and @durbin.senate.gov from leadership? This was the last straw for me. I'm sure others are feeling the same. Not a penny, not a single second of volunteering, nothing for 2026.

This is a lovely sentiment but Schumer isn't up for re-election until 2028 and he knows this. At which point he will be 77/78. There's no mechanism to recall a sitting senator AFAIK.
Let’s be clear: Chuck Schumer is the one ending this shutdown, no matter how the votes read.

I would suggest people call Sen Gary Peters who is chair of the Democratic Senate Campaign Committee and inform him that you will not be funding anymore campaigns until there is a change of leadership. Also inform him that we Dems will primary the eight.
