The Constitution disagrees. The Emoluments Clause, part of Article I, Section 9, Clause 8, bans office holders from taking ANY gifts from foreign countries. There is no mention of quid pro quo. That is because the Founding Fathers knew that even the *appearance* of corruption promotes corruption.

I get that a lot of Vikings fans would hate this signing, but please consider that JJ McCarthy is currently the only QB under contract for next year. Jones is a veteran who has played a lot of football. A backup with years of starting experience--on the cheap--would be ideal.

I'm not in agreement with the analytical crowd that promotes the "high draft picks & cap space wins championships" philosophy. The NFL is not Madden. Coaching & roster construction with a focus on scheme fit and team chemistry wins championships. PS. Matthew, really respect & enjoy your work! #SKOL
Wrote about how today is a battle of the builds with the Vikings and Bears. They took different approaches after leadership changes in 2022 and are in different places now

I honestly can't remember the last time I heard even a balanced national TV broadcast.
Gene Steratore just watched a Titans player slam a Vikings punt returner to the ground from behind roughly 7 yards out of bounds and didn't see issue with it... what is going on
