I may post on here in the future, but the mods seem to like deleting posts on a fairly spurious basis. Given the current situation in the the US, I'm not inclined to knee-jerk censorship of speech.

So, how are the “when do we flee” conversations going?

bluesky has once again taken down one of my posts for unacceptable content. No idea which one. They didn't say. But I'm outta here for an unknown interval. I'm sick of our ninny-ass culture of anonymous pearl-clutching

We're going to see a lot of this, and Democrats will do nothing to stop it
Nancy Mace is sharing the text of a House resolution targeting Ilhan Omar in which her interview with me and Zeteo is cited by name but they can’t actually provide any quotes from Omar to support their case against her. The only other thing they have is a video she reposted. But nothing from her.

White man here. I insist everyone treat me like a tiny sparrow egg because I am frail and delicate. If you do not, I will unleash Bewegungskrieg upon you
Scoop: Status has obtained the termination letter The Washington Post sent to @karenattiah.bsky.social, in which it informed her that she was being fired for social media posts "about white men."

Details in @status.news: www.status.news/p/karen-atti...
Fired By The Post
The Washington Post said it fired Karen Attiah over comments she made about white men in the wake of Charlie Kirk’s death, Status has learned.

I keep assembling posts about the current situation and deleting them. It’s preaching to the choir. If you’re reading me, you already know the situation

For context, the Nazis in Germany weren’t even this strident this early in the project. We are doing a speed run
absolutely repugnant, gutfeld completely dismisses the assassination of melissa hortman, calls it a "bull shit" example of political violence

If you still think the Democrats are going to save you,
Schumer on government funding: "Our position remains this: We want to keep the government open by engaging in bipartisan negotiation where we can address some of the grave harms Donald Trump has caused to our health care system and help Americans with the cost of living."

It’s interesting in a “wow the stern just broke off” way to see the right go straight up insane.
It’s going to suck a lot very soon, but I can’t claim I’m bored

Make the distinction between corporatists and oligarchs, and the American binary makes perfect sense.
Democrats are corporatists. They care about ‘big ——‘ (banks, pharma, insurance). Republicans are the oligarchy team. They Stan for wrecker billionaires. Thiel, Musk, etc. carving up the republic.

Those are rookie numbers
COLD HARD FACTS: 74% of political violence is perpetrated by far-right extremists. ONLY 4% is from left-wing extremism.

If you’re not paying attention to the mass deportations of immigrants and the assault on trans people happening now, please tune in. Next up will be socialists, then ‘leftists’ in general, citizens of color, queer folk, etc. then what? Unions? Non-Protestants? Democrats? You’re on a list somewhere.

If you’re outraged over anything the Trump junta, Republicans in general, Democrats, or the media are doing, you are wasting your precious energies.
They’re going to do this same shit through the midterms, then do a variation on it, and so on forever.

In the last month I have missed out on so many political cartoon opportunities it’s absurd. At the same time, it’s all lipstick on a pig. There’s nothing to say but “what the genuine fuck” over and over

The big takeaway of this week has been realizing the media aren’t just bending the knee to right-wing extremism, but support it.
That’s a major shift in my understanding.
I figured they were basic quisling cowards; turns out they’re colluding.
While this doesn’t change much, it’s sobering to see

This week was the end of an act. The curtain fell on a dramatic tableau of violence.
Now there is busy, bustling noise behind the curtain.
Next week it rises on scene one of a new act. It will be fascinating to learn what drama lies ahead

The Guardian is the only big paper left that I'll read. Which is why I read the article and assumed they'd done the homework.
They had not done the homework.
I hope they spell my name right when I'm on the list of people they rounded up
Y'know that Guardian article which cited an anonymous friend of Tyler Robinson claiming he was the only "leftist" in his family?

It just got updated after the "verified source" decided he couldn't remember his "relationship" with the accused shooter well enough to be quoted

‘Apart’ and ‘a part’ are opposites.
September 13, 2025 at 2:54 AM
This is extraordinary. He really says it. He hoped the shooter was ‘the other’, not ‘one of us’

I was an alienated young white man and I read theory and became an ultra-leftist. Engels, Marx, Zinn, Chomsky, Said, Grammsky, Orwell, etc. made me understand where my malaise came from. That my privilege was poisoning me.

The pipeline to radicalism can be filled by anything, including good ideas
