Shocking viewing.

Local people have long known about the problems caused by sewage overflows, but now the company stands accused of murky accounting practices that may have prioritised shareholder dividends over water bills and the health of our rivers.

Panorama - The Water Company’s Murky Business

Some decided to damage Scrooge's Gravestone in St Chad's. Quite disappointing that someone felt it fun to damage something that has been there for 40 years and has become a quirky tourist attraction.

It has been reported to the police. If anyone witnessed whoever did it can you get in touch.

This is sad..

If you've ever watched Christmas TV, you'll have seen this; Scrooge's grave from the 80's Christmas Carol movie, filmed in Shrewsbury

The crew left it on location at St Chads where it's been visited by tourists for 40 years.

Until now

Inexplicably destroyed .. apparently by vandals
