With sigs.k8s.io/kind + lima-vm.io on an M4 Pro it is faster to recreate the cluster after raising the system inotify limit than wait for crashloopbackoff 😂

Still at a loss for words. Han was a wonderful human and an incredible engineer. He will be dearly missed.

If you knew Han we're also collecting memorial messages. I hope someday his kids can read them: github.com/cncf/memoria...

Had a small hand in this one, primarily @thock.in's work: "Introducing KYAML, a safer, less ambiguous YAML subset / encoding"

Coming to Kubernetes v1.34 in alpha later this month!

@stmcginnis.bsky.social is too modest, and the process bits are my fault :-) His first time cutting a kind release, thanks Sean! 🎉
New kind v0.28.0 release is out. Not too many major changes, but includes containerd 2.1 and defaults to
@kubernetes.io
v1.33.1!

Huge thanks to @bentheelder.bsky.social for guidance running this release. The right parts are his, and errors are mine. 😄

As always it's a *huge* team effort. I'm proud to have helped lead this one 😅

This week I did IPL round 4 of 4 and then lid debridement + LipiFlow for the MGD / severe dry eye.

This afternoon I'm sitting atop Mission Peak after months of struggling with everyday tasks.
I've done *far* more challenging routes but this is the *hardest* hike I've ever been on. 😮‍💨

I'm so happy 🥲
