Two animal welfare non-profits that I think are cool but you might not have heard of:



FarmKind.giving: These guys built a cool donation platform that calculates (a) how many animals are raised for your diet and (b) how many animals you can help by giving to various animal welfare charities.

The lighter the meat color, the greater the suffering. Lewis Bollard explains why on twitter (x.com/Lewis_Bollar...). Mainly it is because darker meat tends to come from larger animals.

Utilitarianism is too demanding. Traditional deontology is not demanding enough. I defend progressive deontology: the worse the world, the more demanding morality is.
