There is a post circulating on Bluesky encouraging the moving of a frozen turkey straight into a pot of hot oil. We are combating this misinformation the best way we know how - through the power of dance music.

I took a little wistful stroll down memory lane by rewatching @jazzyboho.bsky.social 's amazing documentary "Earthbound USA". Like the games it was inspired by, it has the power "to kids into adults, and adults into kids." earthboundusa.com

Over the weekend, I did my first data recovery of a failed NVMe drive. I wrote up a little post outlining the story. codywilson.co/posts/nvme-d...
Recovering data on a failed NVMe drive from over 500 miles away
On Friday, a buddy of mine reached out to me on Discord - “hey, uh, do you happen to know how to recover data from a dead NVMe drive?” Well, no, I didn’t at the time, but challenge accepted? I figured...

I love this. I'm often a busy person. Lots going on, often lost in my own little world, working on things for $dayjob, or side projects, or spending time with my partner. But every time I'm invited to do something, even if I rarely say yes, I feel thought of. Counted. sharif.io/anna-alexei

@pizzahotline.bsky.social Hey, just stumbled across you from a random YT rec for a MOTORSLICE video, and now I'm falling in love with your tunes! I'd like to start playing around with some of that PS1 era sound, curious if you have any recommendations or guidance for sound design from that era?

@brian.dev Hey Brian! Had been following your work with Incus and incus-compose for a while, but recently saw that the repo (and the Community Scripts port) were archived. Wanted to pick your brain - have you abandoned Incus as a deployment platform? Curious on your thoughts as to why.

Hello just wanted to say:

Public media is a useful public good. It is a source of great local news at a time when local news is being decimated. Also, in my 10 years in public media, I can say people who work here do it because they believe in the mission of informing people.

Just noting.
