The kick connected unfortunately and the Saiyan Prince was sent flying back, grunting loudly and catching himself before turning around.

Good to know Vegeta wasn't getting sloppy during his nap, seems Whis had been doing well taking over temporarily when he wanted some time to himself. Beerus quickly moved back dodging again, circling, and throwing a kick towards the back of Vegeta's head.
Vegeta expected him to do that which was why as soon as Beerus dodged the attack, his foot was going right for his stomach. He was 90% sure it would connect.
