Half Rez reminded me: the people shaping this industry aren’t just good at their jobs—they’re interesting. Smart. Curious. Kind. And busy again. The industry feels like it’s moving forward. And it feels good to be in the mix.

Stepped off social media for a while. I needed the quiet. But I also lost something: creative momentum. Those little sparks from seeing what others are building.

I forgot what it feels like to start from zero. Lately I’ve been trying to learn new tools like Figma and Rive it reminds me of being being back in school, you don’t have a project looming over your head, it’s just your own personal drive… so I’m planting seeds now, hoping they pay off later.

I’ve freelanced, been in-house, run my own studio, and worked corporate.

Each one hits differently.

What worked for me at one point didn’t work later. And that’s something I didn’t expect, creative needs evolving.

The goal isn’t to find the perfect setup. It’s to stay aware of what fuels you now.

Caught up with friends at the Chicago Fire game this past weekend. Simple, real, and a reminder that time with people who get you is part of the work too. 🍻

2024 in 24 seconds! This is a very quick recap of the past year and is just a small sample of all the fun projects I got to work on, with some incredibly talented people. 2025 is already off to a wild start and it's too early to know what it will look like when the year ends.

For $1 (plus fee) it was hard passing up an NBA game even if it was the Jazz.

It never stops being exciting seeing something you worked on play on TV when you’re out at a bar.

Ok I haven’t been to every spot yet in Salt Lake City but so far Fisher Brewing has the best beer and Drunken Kitchen is the best food at a brewery. 🍻
