I’m a big Bode fan. I’ll be following him closely as I still think he can be a quality MLS starter. #RSL
I'm told Real Salt Lake will receive up to $350k GAM ($200k + $150k add-ons) from CF Montréal in deal for Bode Hidalgo.

Wow. I’m devastated by the Sentnor trade. No matter what we could realistically get in return, that’s a tough pill for fans of the worst team in the league to swallow. #URFC

Real Salt Lake sign Brazilian forward Rwan Cruz from Botafogo. New DP forward is all done.
Cruz is on loan thru the end of the season. $5m purchase option, I'm told.

Because only 4 out of the 18 MLS teams in Leagues Cup will advance, it will be difficult for any team, including #RSL, to qualify for the knockouts. However, their results have been quite good recently and they have an average strength of schedule, so I don’t think it’s unrealistic.

They’re saying the loan + purchase option deal is done and that Rwan has already traveled to the US to complete the signing!
#RSL are rumored to be pursuing Rwan Cruz, backup striker for Botafogo in Brazil (home of Jefferson Savarino) in a loan deal.

I’m not feeling existential about that #RSL loss at all. Cincy’s defensive spine is very, very good (they now have the most points in MLS btw) so we struggled much more with the ball than our previous game, but it was a hard-fought game with a mildly disappointing ending.

I thought this was coming. He’s a good player and I’m still confused as to why #RSL managed him the way they did. He was captain and DPOY of the Monarchs at 18 yo, then they sent him off on loan for 2 straight seasons then released him. I hope he has a good career with STL.

I thought this was coming. He’s a good player and I’m still confused as to why #RSL managed him the way they did. He was captain and DPOY of the Monarchs at 18 yo, then they sent him off on loan for 2 straight seasons then released him. I hope he has a good career with STL.
#RSL played some pretty soccer last night. Fluid, sophisticated build-up from Luna, Diogo, Gozo et al. Agada was unfortunately a weak link at times, but Pablo has the guys playing well overall.

I was happy to see Jaziel Orozco get the start for STL today (his first MLS start/app since a four-game stretch at CB for #RSL in 2022). Diogo may be finding his form. Gozo is still dangerous. Cabral is sensational. Good win.

Below is the xG Allowed for each NWSL team (per Opta). Two teams stick out: KC Current & #URFC. This is unacceptable and I chalk it up to both poor individual play and the coaches not putting players in positions to succeed.
