As was pointed out to me last night, SNAP money doesn't only benefit the recipients. Grocery stores in my area are cutting hours as a direct result of the lost revenue. As in they know what percentage of sales are SNAP and are using that as a guide for how much labor to cut.

This 1000x over. I'm happy to pay taxes to help those in need because they can't find work or are unable to work. But why are my tax dollars subsidizing some companies refusal to pay a living wage?!?
