$700 later I at least have an answer. Rupture in the mains to the house for shit knows how long, soft ground has moved and cracked the nearby downpipe and the ground water is leaking into that.
There's been a bit of water flowing in the gutter out front of the house for a few days.
Trying to figure out the potential leak. Nothing on the outside drain points, nothing I can see in the roof gutters. Turned off the water to the house, flow subsided. Shit.
