It's a culture thing. Everybody knows Davis has no idea what he's doing plus they've been cash-poor forever. Selling the team would be the best thing to happen because fresh eyes might actually get good people in the building. If not that, then draft only o-linemen in '26 cuz Jeanty has no chance.

It's starting to feel like I'm Liam Neeson from "Taken". I have a particular set of skills made only for my job. No other job, not even related, tangential or sorta like it. I can do exactly this job and this one only according to the # of application rejections I get monthly.

Most anyone is. Execs lose the plot on how to do nuts and bolts work once they become any kind of VP and from then on it's just about shareholders and keeping them happy.
it's not that i ever doubted that being a barista was a skilled position, but my year-long effort to try to produce a half-decent latte at home has convinced me that a good barista is easily more skilled than virtually every c-suite executive on the planet
