There are some Myrtle bushes at my work. I am cycling through a witchy phase so of course I’m curious what, if any, uses Myrtle has. A quick google search shows some basic info with no real explanation, but I did find the National Institute of Health do a little more talk on the folk uses as well

BIG thing i get teased about over the years (in playful ways, it is fine buckaroos, but a light tease none the less) is the DIRECTNESS of my titles. many who stumble upon my books will immediately comment 'the title is so long it just says what happens'. here are some of my thoughts on that...

So planning on calling this exploration and survival game Fly You Fools. But I think I need some type of stress mechanic. I want to add safe rooms that the meta currency can help you get to, but I think stress would help encourage continuing exploration/limit cheesing safe rooms

So I prefer dice pools over jenga towers because I find that it usually gives a growing feeling of dread and inevitability as the pool dwindles. Block towers are always sudden. Sure there is fear, but then either immediate relief or sorrow. Dice pools linger. Almost every roll is a loss
Thanks to the good folks over at @abyssalbrews.com I’ve had a game idea stuck in my head for two days. Or at least an SRD. it’s a sneak and run concept. For the sneak, I’m thinking either jenga tower or dice pool where you remove ones. Map divided in sections where each section affects how many

Last night was fun. The party was asked to steal enough gold from the dragon, it would lose some power. Instead, they caused a ruckus and the dragon woke up and killed two of the characters. Rogue bullshit is the only reason I didn’t get three

When I played football in high school, our D line coach always told us to run the other team to the sideline. They might gain a yard, but they ran 15 to do it. It’s not sustainable to play like that. So run em sideline to sideline.
You don’t owe them compliance, make every inch feel like a mile for them.

My latest game, The Cog That Remains, in this one! Solo But Not Alone is an always-great deal (it's $10 for 107 games never before seen in a SBNA Bundle) for an always-great cause (mental health matters)!
For the day crew. I should really plan my skeets better and not just blast em out in the middle of the night 😅
So this has been on my mind for a while. The gist is a dnd one shot that is printed on the gm screen and includes thin minis, dice towers, storage boxes, and scatter terrain. The one shot would have the adventure, some NPCs, and faction information.

You know the problem with using exploding dice? Figuring out probabilities for random tables. Like the d4 table has a 25% chance to explode which means 25% of the time, 5 is the most common roll but you can never roll an 8 cause the 4s would explode…just like my brain trying to work this out 😅
