I asked Gemini: Is it fair to perceive enormous wealth by one entity as a burden on the lesser elements of our society?

I will never understand how they think a lier, fraudster, crook and felon is going to help them achieve a better life. Moreover, how are things better now(?), now that everything the government declares and presents is clearly a loss of personal wealth and freedom. 2/2

You know, I read this long dissertation in the NYT ( ithink) about the drift of minority voters to The RIGHT, and while I appreciate that they think their concerns are not being adequately addressed in the Democratic agenda, 1/2

2/2 So it is a sad state of affairs, indeed, that even from the Post Office all we get is "GARBAGE" just like most every department of our government.
Today I got the usual USPS email informing me that I would get " 1 mailpiece soon to be delivered to your mailbox" . My spouse is not a USPS subscriber so I forwarded the email with the comment ' the only mail is an AD '. To which she replied: ' and it will go straight to the garbage ' 1/2

Do you own any items - individual specific items, not just ones of the same type - that have a cultural significance in some group?

A Trek prop, one of Mulder’s office posters, one of Steve Jobs’ turtlenecks, an animation cel, the spear of Longinus, a pope’s finger bones - anything?

With a nod to my beloved partner, thistlepoppy, my Flower Girl, I try to capture the essence of her chaos garden as we see it from the living room, with some enhancements, of course.

I would think they would start with Elon Musk who famously admits he lied on his naturalization application.
"The Justice Department is aggressively prioritizing efforts to strip some Americans of their U.S. citizenship...At least one person has already been denaturalized...June 13, a judge ordered the revocation of the citizenship of Elliott Duke, who uses they/them pronouns."

So i asked Gemini: Doesn't extending the 2017 tax cuts for corporations and rich individuals increase the deficit and there by costing ordinary americans more for products for which we have to borrow? and IT answered:

This is a great quote and something we MUST all be aware of: "NYC Dem primary voters considered that maybe they are trapped in an information bubble by getting their news through a social media platform that isn't representative of reality" from @mtsw.bsky.social

Even California, a Blue Wall state, may not have been exempt from vote manipulation in the 2024 U.S. General Election.

In the ETA’s latest video, Nathan covers irregularities found in the voting data of counties throughout California.

I had to look up neurodivergent, and it is pretty all-encompassing. Still I am on board with the OP
I see a lot of people talk about the invisible load of motherhood. But no one really talks about the invisible load of being neurodivergent in a world where you're constantly expected to put the needs of others before your own...

When @bradtakei.bsky.social and I first got together, we never imagined we’d one day celebrate Pride openly, let alone post about it on the internet. But here we are, joy and all. Happy Pride, everyone! Let’s keep showing up, speaking out, and marching forward (glitter optional, but encouraged). 🌈✨

I live in this town. This is disgusting to pretty much everyone except the pardonee.
This is psychotic. Scott Jenkins took $75K in bribes—in wads of cash—from rich businessmen who wanted fake police badges so they could flash them, carry guns, and dodge the rules. Can MAGA please stop pretending to care about law and order?

Good Morning my Lovelies.☕️ Someone just pointed out that an image I just shared was AI, and even I was fooled. This is getting ridiculous now. Just as a heads up, (as far as I know) I never share AI computer images, so I encourage you all to let me know. It's much appreciated.🙏

short-distance (<1000 miles) air travel is outdated 20th century technology. The Chinese are using 21st century technology (high speed rail) while we're stuck in the past.
Chinese HSR does Beijing-Shanghai – which is about the distance as NYC-Atlanta – in just over four hours, and gets six times the ridership of airlines. $1.8 billion in net profit last year. scmp.com/economy/chin...
‘More convenient’: why China’s travellers are ditching planes for bullet trains
More passengers on busy Beijing-Shanghai route are choosing high-speed rail, which offers flexibility, comfort and stable internet access.
