It has always puzzled me that when a regime decides to expand its territory, other countries send their clueless young people to kill other clueless young people, rather than dropping bombs on the people who ordered the invasion.

In my career as an IT guy, I learned that no one likes to hear "I told you so." A Senior Analyst/Regulatory Subject Matter Expert of my acquaintance suggests this professional-sounding alternative:
