Starting off 2025 the way I ended 2024. I really appreciate my OTF classes, instructors, and friends I see throughout the week there.

1. I am now part-time, working fully remotely, with some extra time that I can devote to legal/IP projects for others. I'm mostly interested in IP consulting; could be a project, strategy/portfolio review, . . .

In light of my impeccable credentials an organization would like me to speak at a legal conference in Amsterdam. Per my usual response I told them I have no budget for this but would be happy to travel at their expense. Someday someone will bite. Maybe.

Those with some corporate finance / accounting knowledge . . . . will Twitter (the co. formerly known as) have to write off goodwill, etc., value lost when abandoning the Twitter name/trademark?

Anyone using Otter.ai for meeting notes etc? Any concerns with lawyers using it along with non-lawyers in meetings? I ask because I've just today started seeing people using this.

I cannot attend to yet another social media platform. Threads not available on the web or OS X app makes it easy for me to ignore it for now. I do 90% of my reading and posting on a Macbook.
