I discovered this Ontario based Indie Stephen Stanley Band a few days ago. I really love this song in particular. It sends electrical waves tingling through my spine and brain (I'm kundalini awakened since 2006).

You might like it too.

Excellent write-up about 2 of 12 days touring Montréal by bike. I read it slowly to fully absorb and appreciate the consideration to make it both entertaining for armchair tourers, and informative for people researching to plan their own biking adventures. I'm envious of the pedestrianized streets.
31 km ride on Montreal’s calm streets to Jean Talon Market, lush linear parks, and iconic Fairmount Bagel. Repurposed streets, murals, pedestrian zones, and waterfront views. A steep climb back to the Oratory. A full day of food, art, green spaces, and discovery.

We explore Montreal’s canals, enjoy scenic multi-use paths with autumn foliage, and stop for lunch at a café. Later we ride through LaSalle and Verdun’s bike-friendly streets, and climb up to the basilica — only to get locked inside unexpectedly.

Federal government plans to follow Ontario’s lead, prohibit non-competition clauses in employment contracts.

The rest of country should similarly ban non-competes. As I explain in this article, most non-compete clauses are illegal anyways and they are bad policy:

Non-Competition Clauses in Canadian Employment Law and the Doctrine of Inequality of Bargaining Power
In 2021, the Ontario government legislatively prohibited most non-competition clauses, the first Canadian government to take this step. The move was unexpected

The sandwich came apart and "kind of exploded" on his chest upon impact, he says.

"E-bike owners are reminded to leave their bikes at home on Halloween."

When have the cops ever — EVER — advised drivers to leave their cars at home for the sake of kids' safety? Give me a single example.
Very frustrating to still see public campaigns like this from Delta PD telling kids to wear bright reflectors on their costumes and people to leave their bikes at home.

The risk to pedestrians on Halloween comes from drivers, not cyclists.
