A large march occurred here with people all along the bike path on the mainland, from one causeway to the other. Some local media had the nerve to claim these were outsiders bussed in. A LOT of older local women here are ready to take on anyone who doubts our tenacity.

Reminding myself of the griefs that live with me since the beginning of COVID — 5 years ago (that’s all — 5 years). Granting myself a little grace today.

Nothing has changed in the film industry since I was a film student 1980-82. In production lots of white men. A woman sprinkled in here and there. I was training to be a film editor.
I went the easier route and got a
Ph.D. in literature.

If this were a USA that we thought we knew, the legislature would be in emergency session to censure T or make some other action to stop this travesty.
Instead, crickets.
Our government falls in line with transactional foreign policy and contempt for good, right, democratic.

So glad the US is following our neighbor nation’s precedent in considering phasing out the penny. www.newsweek.com/there-are-no...
There are no pennies in Canada. Can DOGE achieve the same feat?
Canadians are saving $11 million every year because of the penny, a Canadian official told Newsweek. Could the U.S. follow?

The NTSB was trying to get ahead of the misinformation. The guy who had to explain the complexity of their situation deserves a medal.
If I understand what he was saying, as of now it appears that there was a glitch in the data that the tower was seeing.
