After deciding to post more here, it's startling to realise how much the 'Bad Place' has triggered/enraged/depressed me.

The world remains a wonder, and I'm going to treasure that.

Here's the first thunderstorm arriving in Gaborone, Botswana.
Cry more, cry harder...

Joshua Kimmich says that Arsenal are not the best side Bayern Munich have faced this year, claiming the Germans’ 3-1 Champions League defeat was not a “football game.”

The Labour government said they would massively cut immigration. They have succeeded. The people who hated them, still hate them. The national conversation is still entirely about immigration, and completely toxic.

Completely foreseeable, completely foreseen.
NEW: Net migration to the UK fell significantly to 204,000 in the year to June.

That’s down from 649,000 in the year to June 2024 - a fall of around two-thirds.

This is without Gabriel, without Ødegaard, and with Merino up front instead of Havertz/Gyökeres. If we can just keep everyone fit second half of the season there shouldn't be any stopping us.

Again I wish Arsenal were on BlueSky just for these automated posts at least. Nevertheless.

Dear UK: You don’t pay enough taxes to have an NHS that doesn’t run on immigration and immigrant labour.

Sorry to be brutally honest but it’s how it is

Just finished re-watching "The Cabin in the Woods" and remembered, first time around, how much I thought humanity deserved its eventual fate there.

The timeline we're creating in the present day doesn't leave me optimistic about our species.

reminded of eric williams's observation about britain's relationship to its history with slavery. "British historians wrote almost as if Britain had introduced Negro slavery solely for the satisfaction of abolishing it."

Best case: The President of the United States knew about a pedophilia ring and did nothing to stop it.

Medium case: He also used his office to protect the perpetrators.

Worst case: Because he was one of the perpetrators.

Please be assured that patient care is our top priority - don't hesitate to visit us as needed and treat any appointments you have as going ahead unless you hear otherwise from us.

I'm sure there's a nice warm seat waiting for him at GB News.
Here's hoping Kuenssberg and the other rabid propagandists follow him out the door.

Ideal outcome 3-3 draw, two red cards each, a massive fight that sees both teams deducted points and Haaland and van Dijk injuring each other in a freak clash where their man-buns get tangled up in an aerial challenge that sees them out for the season.

Lacazette went on to score a brace in that match as part of an emphatic 4-0 Arsenal victory to negate a disappointing 1-1 draw in the first leg at the Emirates.

I hope Arsenal beat the pants of Slavia Prague today.

Arsenal in October 2025 has been written in history as the perfect month.

6 games. 6 wins. 0 defeats. 12 goals scored. 0 goals conceded. 6 clean sheets.

Mikel Arteta, you’ve created a monster.
