Did anyone else ever watch The Magicians?
I thought it was absolute dogwater for about three episodes, and then it slowly morphed into one of my favorite shows. Starting to feel the urge to rewatch it and hoping it actually holds up.

Been toying with Unreal again the last few nights. I've probably sunken 10+ hours into it already and all I have to show is a character moving -mostly- how I want on a 2D plane 😅

Man, the urge I have to play a WoW-style game constantly re-emerges. Playing 1.12 on a private server was so incredibly fun for me, though we needed way more people.
Does anything scratch that itch these days? FFXIV really does not.

I finished up getting 100% in Silksong to satisfy the completionist inside me (I know I'm missing an optional boss, I may or may not go back for it)
Of course, one of the achievements is to complete the game after reaching 100%.

Finished Silksong.
Great game, definitely not perfect.
Final final boss is an exercise in frustration for me, and I had one major control issue that could've been fixed with a better buffered input IMO. Made the movement not quite as tight as Hollow Knight.
Missed just a handful of things I think!

I beat Silksong last night! If they're following the Hollow Knight formula I expect that means I have about 35% more game left to get a good ending 😄

Ok, other than that one area of Silksong I'm having a really good time. Just fought one of my favorite bosses in a long time!

Muckroaches might be the single most infuriating regular enemy I've encountered in Silksong, and possibly any game in recent memory. Constantly hitting me for two masks when they shouldn't even make contact.

While I was down in FL, we made curiosities at the zoo. The skull is not real bone, but it's modeled after a real animal (and scaled down a bit)

Been editing Celeste footage and finished counting up the deaths for the final room of Ch. 9 Farewell. Ya know, it was less than 7-C by a large margin. Less than half, in fact.
I'm not sure if that's a testament to my growth through playing chapter 9 or if 7-C is just that evil.

A bus of Bronx middle schoolers pulled up to the Capitol this morning for a long-planned field trip just a few hours after the government shut down.
All Capitol tours were cancelled as the guides can’t work in shutdown.
So I escorted them in myself and gave them a personal tour. They were great!
