What I mean is, all it takes is one person to show that doing it differently can work. That makes people believers… and is part of the cool thing about politics. Done right, ANYBODY can and should be a competitor, it shouldn’t be rigged.

It’s a tactic that’s used so they can’t be criticized. They think if you have no metric to be measured by or principle to stand on it makes it harder to be attacked by your opponent. Republicans don’t do that. They lie, or tell you that they’re going to harm you upfront.
