Trials of the Jedi might be the most important Star Wars book ever. To do what @charlessoule.bsky.social pulls off is a testament to how amazing he is and how wonderful Star Wars can be. clashingsabers.net/2025/07/20/w...
Why Trials of the Jedi Is The Most Important Star Wars Book In A Generation
Trials of the Jedi, the latest and final installment in The High Republic saga, is one of the most important Star Wars books ever written. In fact, it may be the most important Star Wars book since…

1400% increase is a hilarious way to write that. Just say in 2015 there was only 1 female coach.
In 1990, the New York Jets hired the NFL’s first female strength coach, Lee Brandon.

Entering 2025, there are six women working in strength departments.

The improving representation makes strength coaching a unique avenue.

I just Finishes Trials of the Jedi, and It’s hard to review this book by itself, even though it’s amazing.

When I read Light of the Jedi in 2020, I remember preordering a signed copy, and getting so unreasonably excited about a fully new Star Wars era for stories(cont)

I just spent the past 2 months rereading everything in High Republic. I read Light of the Jedi the week it released 5 years ago. My copy of Trials of the Jedi arrives on Saturday and thus I’ll be off the grid till then cause there ain’t no way I’m getting this spoiled!

How does one start watching doctor who? Do I need to watch from the start? It feels a little daunting but I think I’d love it.

I just spent the last 3 months rereading EVERYTHING in The High Republic, and… god it’s amazing.

I love Reath Silas so so much, but every single character is just so absolutely amazing, with so many moments that are so perfectly crafted. A masterpiece in storytelling. So excited to see how it ends.

I worked with Jacob on V0.1 of the retractable lightsaber a couple years ago. Seeing him make a V2.0 that is so clean and functional feels like a miracle in engineering (fun fact, not even the Disney ones retract back in!)

Haven’t updated my #TheHighRepublic read through thoughts in a bit. Here’s a dump of them:

I liked Phase 2 MUCH more on re read knowing how things would start connecting. It felt less like a jump out of nowhere, and more as context for the end.

Phase 3… SLAPS!(cont)

I wasn’t going to watch the Superman trailer.

I caved in and watched it.

Fuck I’m so excited. You can clearly see he isnt some god, or some all powerful being that is meant to be stoic. He’s a dude just trying to protect everyone and do his best. His powers just let him do that a little more.

This is, objectively, fucking hilarious.
Warner Bros. Discovery is changing names again.

Meet the new HBO Max, it's the same as the old HBO Max before the name was changed to just Max. But now it will be HBO Max again.

Sinners dropping just 6% in its second weekend merits a much bigger headline than its $48 million opening. It is actual box-office news--news as in "This never happens." Just a giant thing, for Ryan Coogler and for the future of original material.

I think about that boxing match in Creed an unreasonable amount of times.

So exited to see Sinners.
Feel that if you’re gonna do a oner it needs to be as good as Ryan Coogler otherwise you gonna just shoot it regularly

1. That’s nice

2. HOW THE FUCK WAS THIS NOT THE CASE ALREADY

The new one piece opening might be one of the best anime openings ever.

The Pitt…. Fuck I don’t have words.

Finally got enough time to finish out Phase I. Every single novel, book, comic, magazine, short story, even the games. And oh, boy it's somehow better than I remembered. The magic of the start of THR doesn't diminish throughout all of Phase I, it in fact gets better as time goes on. Also...
Given that the end of #TheHighRepublic is coming soon, i decided to go back and read (mostly re read if we’re being honest) everything from scratch. Having just finished the first wave of Phase I, I can say that it truly has been that great from the start, it’s not nostalgia. (cont.)
