I fell for an e-transfer scam last week. Some asshat posing as a client sent a 'deposit'. I thought it seemed off, but clicked anyway. Fortunately I didn't have much in my checking account, and my account has been secured. But damn, it still sucks.

I accepted a fraudulent e-transfer yesterday from a scammer posing as a client. The asshats emptied my checking account, which, admittedly, was pretty empty to begin with. I usually only deposit minimal cash in checking. Still, so rude and what a pain in the ass.

It is so peaceful on this app.
